Ese día, las fuerzas israelíes desplegaron tropas de tierra, excavadoras y aviones no tripulados, y acordonaron el campo, en una serie de acciones en las que murieron catorce palestinos, tres de ellos niños, mientras que una decena de miembros de las fuerzas de seguridad fueron heridos.
«Recibimos informes según los cuales varios palestinos fueron asesinados ilegalmente y las fuerzas de seguridad israelíes utilizaron a palestinos desarmados para protegerse de los ataques y mataron a otros en aparentes ejecuciones extrajudiciales», explicó la portavoz del organismo, Ravina Shamdasani.
