El General de Brigada del Ejército de República Dominicana Justo Orlando Del Orbe Piña, coordinó de manera exitosa el Libro Blanco de la Defensa de República Dominicana. Meta propuesta por varios Estados del continente en el año 2009.
Para la elaboración del libro participaron un grupo de intelectuales de alto nivel como el propio General Del Orbe, Iván Gaton, Charlotte Dalbin, Miguel Sang Beng, Cornl. Bismark Hernandez, entre otros.
De la misma manera, República Dominicana, fue asesorada por varios organismos tanto nacionales como internacionales en la elaboración de este instrumento de defensa nacional, entre estos la Organización de Naciones Unidas (ONU).
Si la ONU, El mismo organismo que políticos tanto en oposición como en el gobierno han declarado que se inmiscuye en los asuntos internos del Estado, que es parte de un plan conspiranoico contra R. D. y que menoscaba nuestra soberanía.
Hasta el propio Sr. Presidente ha planteado la supuesta intromisión de la ONU en favor de intereses externos ajenos a los intereses de nuestro país.
Nada de lo expuesto hasta aquí, manifiesta inconformidad de mi parte por la asesoría de la ONU. Todo lo contrario, entiendo que, es una organización con profesionales de alto nivel que aporta valor al gran trabajo realizado por el Gral. Del Orbe y su equipo.
Por el contrario, deja en evidencia la incoherencia entre el decir y el hacer por parte de nuestro liderazgo político dentro y fuera del gobierno al referirse a la ONU como un organismo enemigo de República Dominicana, y la vez, puede asesorar en la cración de un instrumento de defensa nacional..
Para muestra un botón: “Es la ONU enemiga de R.D.” quien asesoró en 1) la elaboración del Libro Blanco de Defensa, 2) en el Plan Nacional de los DD.HH., 3) en el protocolo de deportación de menores de CONANI. Entre otros.
En tal sentido, recomendamos al liderazgo, que, al momento de opinar sobre temas de política exterior y de un organismo como la ONU, primero sean asesorados,y, que sus interés de generar simpatía y esquivar responsabilidades no los lleven al punto de la incoherencia y marchiten el trabajo exitoso como en este caso es el Libro Blanco de la Defensa de República Dominicana.
