Asimismo, observa que “este escenario cibergeopolítico no es propicio para la verdad y la libertad, y que esta infocracia ha calado en todo el planeta de manera contundentemente negativa”.
El experto indica que actualmente existe una era posdigital regida por la geopolítica y que acelera procesos geopolíticos que ya estaban en marcha. Por tanto, “este nuevo período geopolítico de anarquía comparativa dificulta las relaciones internacionales pacíficas”.
“El espacio global que brinda el mundo digital es un espacio anárquico, donde la esfera geopolítica se ve afectada por ejércitos de trolls, personas que se dedican a crear polémica y desinformación con sus comentarios en la red, y por bots, que son cierto tipo de software que pueden ser malignos o benignos, que se dedican a difundir fake news, discursos de odio para influir en la opinión pública”.
“Lamentablemente, parece que los algoritmos y la inteligencia artificial se apoderarán del ciberespacio para las batallas geopolíticas, y de esta manera influir en los procesos sociales, económicos y políticos, desterrando el humanismo que, nacido en el Renacimiento, en el siglo XV, dio esplendor a todo aquello que es humano, abrió las puertas de la razón, lo que nos muestra una ética que exige la verdad, y esto a su vez nos lleva a que la libertad no puede existir en el sentido estricto del término si las desgracias ajenas son ajenas’, concluye.
